Agnetha faltskog is primarily known for her performance as a Swedish soloist. In reality, she'll forever be remembered as a former member of ABBA, the world's most popular and commercially successful pop band. As a teenager, she quit school, Agnetha Faltskog began singing with Bernt Enghardt's group which quickly gained a following. Enghardt signed her to a record contract. She soon reached the highest spot on Sweden's charts, with her debut single. After getting engaged, she became married to Bjorn Ulvaeus. She then joined 'ABBA'. ABBA was one of the most loved pop groups around the globe over the period of eight years. They won Gold and Platinum awards all over all over the world. After ABBA was released, she had three albums: 'Wrap Your Arms Around Me' as well as 'Eyes Of A Woman I Stand Alone'. Each having enjoyed great acclaim in Sweden and gained popularity throughout Europe also, yet didn't make it to the top of charts in the U.S. In the late '80s, as her career came to an end her career took an unofficial retirement. The music of ABBA was the focus of a show on jukeboxes called "Mamma Mia!. She came out of her retirement to release 'My Coloring Book' that reached 11 for the U.K. charts. The most recent album A was well received.
